      I would have a animals chart let them them pick which is their favorite animal and have them put it on the chart and in the end have them count how many animals they have collected at the end of the week.

      Shapes are everywhere in our daily lives and make it part of every day routine can make it enjoyable for kids example clock is a shape of a circle, a tv can be a shape of a rectangle, a triangle can be shaped on top of a mountain and a square can be a shape of a chair or table etc.

      I find bottle tops are very useful because they can use it for counting, adding and subtracting, hand and eye color co ordination, what shape does the bottle top remind you of etc.
